When things were a little crazy in the last few weeks, Nina came to draw with me once a week. It was lovely to draw close to home with a friend and be able to think of nothing else for an hour. We sketched at two neighborhood places I draw at often.
This first one is at Guadalupe Oak Grove Park, sitting on a bench, with oak trees surrounding us.
The next week, Nina visited on a Wednesday, so we went to my local farmers’ market. Here’s the stand I get my mushrooms and veggies at most weeks, all year round.
