Oranges

It’s inching up towards a 100 degree day today. It’s the first day of summer break. This piece seems to fit the mood of the day.

Watercolor, ink, colored pencil, and crayon on BFK Reeves paper.

Happy Weekend.

I love the BFK Paper for watercolor! This is a super fun painting too! I do fear it is going to be a long, hot summer😔

Dear Suhita, I love the way you used the oranges as a soft background and let them jump out again in the foreground, and the light greens and blues of the leaves (I would have lost myself in dark green). I learn from every painting you post! Thank you!
