Flora, Fauna, and a Cat

More flora and fauna, right at home. This set is very quick charcoal studies from my recent photos. Sometimes I just draw because I love the sensation of smooshing vine charcoal onto a paper with a bit of tooth. I rarely fix these pieces, so they’re not permanent.

These next two are of a view I can see right from where I work at my computer. My sketchbook is never far away, and when the cat hears something interesting outside the window, he jumps onto the sill to take a look. I have to be really quick to capture him.
