Homework Portraits

I have an 11th grader who is barely ever home and when she’s home, she’s doing homework. I miss seeing her home more ( but she’s loving her time out of the house, so that’s good for her) and I especially miss when her time at home was made of unending hours of reading Calvin and Hobbes or discussing Minecraft designs with her brother. Now, all I have are homework sketches. The cat seems to like that she and her computer hang out at one spot for a long time: he hangs out with her a lot.

And finally, a sketch of the two kids together. Much as it looks like another homework session, it isn’t, it’s a game they’re playing together.

I usually sketch from life, but two of these 5 sketches were done from a photo. Can you tell which ones?

So you use the endless line for “from life?” Nice! Like the first two also
