Last sketches from Point Lobos. The day started with the sun thinking of showing up through the clouds. I wanted to catch that “there-now-gone-now” feeling as the warm light came and went.
Later in the afternoon it was much more predictably sunny. A quick sketch on location (the top one in the image). I added some depth and detail a little later.
