Still watching James Gurney’s Color in Practice online video so here is one more gouache piece. This one started with an underpainting of blue and yellow acrylic ink . And once that was dry, I used black and white gouache over it.
And in case you think I’ve totally abandoned my sketchbook, it’s still here, and I’m enjoying playing in it.

I really like the first picture, lots of detail and contrast with the black and white against the color.

I love what you are doing with gouache after watching Color in Practice. I have a couple of his other videos and I want to add this one too.
