Day 1 at Home: Line Drawing Kids

San Jose has a “Shelter in Place” order which means the only trips outside will be doctor’s visits (If we need them) and grocery store trips. Here are some line drawings with a fine nib fountain pen, made at home. I suspect there will be a lot more to come.
If you are lucky enough to be able to quarantine at home, thank someone who is out there working to keep an essential service open. And let’s sketch and share our sketches online.

Ah … yes, thank you again, your brief posts and as always, your sketches, are so welcome.

  2. Yes! We need to connect through sketching. I just posted a blog with a 30 day, well not really a challenge, but you get the idea. I would be honored if you checked it out. Even more so if you joined it. We may be inside, but our paints and sketchbooks know no boundaries.

Lovely sketches. Wish I had some kidlets to sketch. Just the dog the birds and the squirrels here hugs. Stay safe!! I think the lockdown in SF a good thing.

I am wanting to start sketching with a fountain pen. Is the pen in your post the same one you list in your supplies. I like the smallness of it. Not sure what nib to start with.. Can you recommend one for a transitioning from micron to fountain pen…?
