Frances Marin brought these Christmas Cacti over to a recent meetup, so I painted them.
You can see from the foliage that I am loving my Daniel Smith Fuchsite Genuine, which is showing up in my green mixes whenever I need that pale bluish-green tinge. It isn’t super-shimmery and doesn’t scan too well, but it’s quite a lovely color. I can see that this post could quite easily segue into a post about pigments and palettes, but maybe I’ll save that for another post and sat with the holidays today.
