Floatsam and Jetsam

A random collection of sketches from over the last few weeks.

These next 2 are from a field trip with a class of 5th graders to the Tech Museum in San Jose. Watching an IMAX movie about the Hubble telescope. Truly breathtaking.

And sketchnotes from their cryptography exhibit.

Castillero Middle School, where my daughter goes this fall, has a fabulous orchestra. Quick brushpen sketch from the back of the room.

I like to draw my kids, and every time I pull out a sketchbook, they pull a face. So I draw it.

My daughter got me back. Here’s a sketch she did of me frowning (growling?).
