Happy Holi, spring is here!

The festival of Holi was mid-week last week, but we celebrated this weekend in my neighborhood with hundreds of people: kids, grandmas, grandpas. And tons of food and color. I love Holi. It’s a time when everyone is a kid, covered from head to toe in color.  I was having way too much fun to sketch so these are super-quick sketches, some of a base of pre-colored paper, most splattered with colored powder thrown on me while I sketched.

You can see it’s hard to sketch when you are covered in color and having so much fun!
