Dealin’ Dollar Dan

This is Dealin’ Dollar Dan. Having a prospector as your sign makes  sense when you’re called Gold Rush Motors. Still, I’m glad Service Rent-A-Car, which now stands on the lot, still has him standing, even though he’s peeling and threatening to fall apart.

And here’s the not-nearly-as-flamboyantly-named Mini Mart. I have no idea how old this sign is, (and maybe it just isn’t that old), but that Flintstones-style lettering makes it seem old.
