Pyramid of the Sun and the Moon,Teotihuacan, Near Mexico City

I have to say I was skeptical: how impressive can a huge mound of rock in the form of a pyramid be? But there is something awe-inspiring about these 2 huge pyramids at Teotihuacan. This is a view of the larger pyramid, the Pyramid of the Sun, sketched from the littler one, the Pyramid of the Moon. I didn’t climb the taller one. I made these two sketches instead.

This is the Pyramid of the Moon. Seen from the Avenue of the Dead that stretches out in front if it.
