People on the streets, Mexico City

Harmonipan Players in freshly pressed khakhi uniforms stand at street corners and crank the handle on the harmonipan all day long. It must be even harder to listen to the same 20 second tune, over and over. I have to admit I’m not a big fan of the music. But the harmonipan itself is beautifully carved, sometimes with wood inlay. And always with polished pipes and brass edging.
Lots of cops. In flourescent jackets. And street sweepers in orange. And men in suits stand guard in front of jewelry stores. They looked a lot like bouncers at bars. Only they wore suits and well-polished shoes.

Street cart selling snacks. A lot of the snacks were American brands: Doritos, Cheetos, but there were also chilli chips and chips that came with little packets of super hot sauces you poured over them.
