Florida

Never looked closely at airline safety instructions until K got totally fascinated with them. Love how the people look all zen and other-worldly as they don their floatation devices and hang around in the ocean.

The kids love a beach- any beach- even an awfully windy beach will do. Top right: shorts worn by one bunch of boys playing beach-football.

Anything resembling banana leaves= warm weather= good place to be.

Need to find out what flower that was. Nice, fat waxy leaves.

Evening sky, just after sunset. Light fading quickly. Florida Keys.

Shell Museum, Sanibel Island. Quick sketches made as I walk around.

Horseshoe crab shells everywhere. Sanibel Island.

That horseshoe crab looks like he’s smiling at me. I don’t trust him at all. Nice drawings though!
