We love the library. And we love the zoo. So it’s a VERY exciting day when Happy Hollow Park and Zoo brings their wild animals to the the Almaden Library for a show!
Lori and Denise from Happy Hollow brought over Elvis the king snake, Jekyll the crow, Zoey the prehensile tailed porcupine, Lindsey the Opossum ( yes, O-possum, possums live in Australia, this animal is local), a baby striped skunk and 2 ferrets. We even got to touch the ferrets- 2 fingers together, stroke from head-to-tail.
The highlight of the show (according to my kids) was when Elvis the coral snake just HAD to go to the bathroom while he was being shown around
